This piece features fabric print of one of my self portraits, broken mica adhered to the fabric. I used the same piece of mica I shot the images with to break and put over the prints. Fabric has been mounted to mat board. I would suggest it be matted into a frame, just because a little bit of printing weirdness happened to both this and the other print at the very bottom and top of each one. (It's not noticeable in all lighting conditions, I didn't even realize until I after I had attached it to the backing and started taking proper pictures of it with the dslr.)
As you can see the mica is mostly transparent when you view it head on, but at angles and depending on the light, it changes.
I can mat and/or frame it for an extra cost. Contact me first if you're interested.
* I do my best to represent each piece as best as I can, but due to differences in monitors/settings there's always the chance there are differences between what you see on your monitor and how the piece looks in person.
I do not accept returns or exchanges.
Again, please refer to the Shop Policies for more in-depth information on all the aspects I briefly covered above. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask first! I'd prefer exchanging 50 emails before you ever place your order to make sure you're happy in the end.
